It is coming up to orchid season. I've found quite a few around Ring One/Ring Res and the location marked on the map in previous years.
Well what a surprise this was! I see that Maz has put the word out about Habitat! I was getting very close to creating some flyers to put the word out to test the functionality. Can I share the details for Irthlingborough's Annual Horticultural Show taking place on 16th August.
Lots of categories, not just vegetables! It's a really great event with a lovely community feel.
This is one of my favourite parts of Irthlingborough - this lovely little waterfall and lush green spot. Even the goose is loving it!
I had never noticed before that the sign has a whole bunch of stuff going on. The River Nene running down through the middle. The church on one side, the cross on the other. It would be good to know the meaning of some of these things. Obviously a boot though! Northamptonshire after all!
